Peter received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management, with a major in Airport Management, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He started his professional aviation career with Republic Airlines and United Technologies International Support Systems. Peter’s knowledge of airport operations grew immensely during his nearly six years at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, serving first as an Airport Control Center Operator, and later as an Operations Coordinator.
After serving as the Executive Director and Editor of EAA Warbirds of America, Peter served a short stint with Cannon Aviation Insurance as an insurance broker in the newly created Oshkosh branch office. With a desire to return to airport operations, he accepted the Airport Maintenance & Operations Superintendant position at Wittman Regional Airport. After several years in that position, Peter was promoted to Airport Director.
