Station #14
Station #14 is located at 2050 Knapp St. and is home to Quint 14 and Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) trucks 114, 214 and 314. Station #14 protects the City of Oshkosh’s south side. Duties include Fire Prevention, Firefighting, Advanced Life Support EMS and ARFF. The City of Oshkosh Fire Department, in cooperation with Winnebago County, operates Wittman Regional Airport’s ARFF trucks. Incidents requiring the ARFF units are requested through the airport control tower. Quint 14 is placed out of service and station personnel respond in ARFF trucks. Every year, Station #14 staff steps up to the task of providing ARFF services during EAA AirVenture, at which time Wittman Regional is The World’s Busiest Airport.
